12 Steps to Better Sleep
The 12 week Better Sleep programme will look at understanding how sleep plays an important role in your overall mental and physical health. We’ll step through how your lifestyle behaviours impact the quality of your sleep, and give practical advice and techniques for getting a better nights sleep.
- Revisit the fundamental of sleep, what's needed, the stages of sleep, and why its important
- Understand the factors affecting good sleep and the changes you can make to improve your sleep
- Assess and develop your bed time routine for better sleep
- Learn about common sleep conditions and how to reduce your risk of developing them
Your lead coach for this programme is Andrea Woodside, a master's qualified mental health professional and Trustee for Mind (The UK's national Association for Mental Health). Andrea has had a long career in organisational wellbeing and contributes regularly to media around workplace mental health.
Andrea has written this programme with a team of qualified health professionals. We are at the forefront of research on behaviour change and motivation and it is our goal to help you get the best results possible.
The programme runs for 12 weeks, guiding you through lifestyle change beyond the average 11 weeks research says is required to form new habits, and includes:
